About Antonio Correia

Headshot: Antonio CorreiaA correspondent for national newspapers and magazines, Antonio is a multimedia
consultant and owner of Bonita Video, LLC. He is also the executive director of the
Bonita Springs Annual Short Film Festival.

Earning a B.A. in communications, film and media arts, Antonio began his career as a
radio DJ and programming director of a radio station in Portugal. A retired Army Captain in the Portuguese Army, he moved to the U.S. in 1990; he worked for community media
cable stations in New York, both in radio production and as a video producer. He also
served as station manager of New Castle Community Television and a media professor
at local community colleges. Antonio is the winner of 20+ awards in community media
documentaries and TV specials.
