Mar 6 – Instagram for Your Non-Profit Organization
Whether you’re a beginner, at an intermediate level or an advanced user, we’ll place you in a small group based on your self-defined skill level.
We are thrilled to have experienced Instagram practitioners helping you get to the next level. Paula DiGrigoli, Safe and Healthy Children’s Coalition, will lead the intermediate group. Other group leaders to be announced once they confirm.
When: 3/6 – 6 to 8 pm
Where: Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples, 6340 Napa Woods Way (Google Map)
Cost: Free, but RSVP is required, as our volunteers need to know how much food to obtain!
There’s one pre-requisite
You MUST install the Instagram app and create an account on your mobile device prior to the meeting as we will not be able to take time to do this at the meeting.
Birgit Pauli-Haack created a set of instructions on how to create your Instagram account for WP4Good. Instagram has over 800 Million users worldwide and is a FREE mobile app which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the AppStore.
Non-Profit organizations can benefit by using this social media tool to connect with their members, potential members and others who may not be familiar with their organization.
Through the use of visual images including video, Instagram shares content in a quick time frame when users are primarily on their mobile devices.
If your social media strategy doesn’t include Instagram you may be missing out on an effective tool to connect with your target group. And while it can complement your communications with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest – it’s not a duplication!
Learn best practices and how other non-profit organizations are effectively using Instagram.
This workshop features Mark Benson and Paula DiGrigoli as group leaders.
NOTE: You may be using your cell phone plan’s data during this event.
