Jan 3rd – Ingredients of a Successful Video
Online marketing predictions for 2017 emphasize video as the best medium to engage with your supporters, donors, and volunteers. Facebook is prioritizing Video and Live in its Newsfeed. Twitter is favoring video in its stream, and the YouTube continues to attract lots of viewers. Instagram and Snapchat are going live to video as well.
This program is intended to use the power of our group to analyze and discuss what content makes videos successful. We will all be more confident and therefore successful is we understand what has made other videos successful.
We will look at examples of award-winning nonprofit videos as a baseline for discussion.
For a starting point, we will look at some winners in this year’s DoGooder Awards as well as Storymakers Winner 2016.
We will also touch on one of the latest trends, ephemeral videos.
FYI Starting January 13, 2017, a nonprofit organization can submit videos for DoGooder Awards 2017. Deadline is February 13, 2017.
Jim O’Reilley, NPTechProjects, will be your host and facilitate the discussion.
